Disney Announces Food & Wine Classic Resort Event

If you are a Disney foodie like we are, then you’re going to want to hear some of the fantastic news that was recently released by Walt Disney World.

We all know of the legendary International Food & Wine Festival that takes place every year at EPCOT. Well, did you know that there is another food & wine event on Disney property? No, not in Batuu in Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom.

The big food & wine news is in reference to The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic that will be returning to Walt Disney World on November 11 and November 12, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Disney has announced that the interactive food and beverage seminars lead by the Disney Resort Hotel’s expert team, will be returning this year.

Unfortunately, the seminars were not able to take place during last year’s Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The seminars will take place on November 11 and November 12, 2022, prior to the start of the outdoor festival, which starts at 5:30 p.m.

These hands-on, educational seminars at the Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic will be a separately ticketed event. Guests can choose from the following Beverage Seminars for $75 per person:

November 11, 2022

• Base to Bubbles
• It’s Better to Wine in Italian
• Wine Blending

November 12, 2022

• Beer, Please!
• Craft Cocktails
• Wine Blending

Umm, we’ll take Wine Blending for $75, Alex (twice).

Guests can also choose to participate in the Pasta Making Seminar on November 11, 2022, for $95 per person. These seminars will teach Guests about wine, beer, spirits, and/or pasta-making from the award-winning food and beverage team from Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts.

Guests will also need to purchase a ticket for the Food & Wine Classic event taking place on the causeway outside for $165 per person per day. If you are not staying at either the Swan or Dolphin Resorts, then don’t worry. This event is open to everyone, so no matter where you’re staying you can purchase the causeway event tickets, seminar tickets or even a la carte tickets.

Guests will be able to enjoy as many of the tasty items at the outdoor stations as you would like. There will be a large and diverse selection of food and drink from some of the best restaurants around, including Picabu, Shula’s Steak House, Garden Grove, Il Mulino-New York, and many others.

There will also be an assortment of live entertainment to enjoy.
