Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Treasure, is here! The long-anticipated reveal has finally come, and we cannot type fast enough to tell you all the amazing details coming to the newest ship. Joining the fleet of Disney Cruise Line, Disney Treasure “will blend one-of-a-kind offerings with unparalleled hospitality that distinguishes every Disney Cruise line vacation,” Disney Parks Blog writes.

Featuring many themes and characters from iconic Disney Animation films, Disney Treasure will pay homage to the Disney classics. Additionally, upon Disney Treasure, adventure awaits all Guests with immersive experiences, world-class dining, the first-ever attraction at sea, and unique spaces aboard.

Set to sail on December 21, 2024, let’s take a look into what Guests will be lucky enough to call home during their stay.

Disney Treasure Revealed

Find Captain Minnie Mouse along with so many other favorite characters throughout the ship, making Disney Treasure a Disney dream come true. The Grand Hall was inspired by Asia, Africa, and Aladdin (1992), along with a restaurant themed after the iconic film Coco (2017) featuring its very own Miguel, which are just two of the many representations of Disney and the voyage around the world.

Plaza De Coco

As we are on the topic of Miguel, let’s first dive into Plaza De Coco. This restaurant will offer the world’s first theatrical dining experience aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship. “The story of Miguel and his familia will continue where it left off on screen as they gather in Mariachi Plaza to take guests on two nights of colorful, music-filled journeys that celebrate family memories with festive dinner menus of modern twists on traditional Mexican fare,” Disney writes.

The AquaMouse

All aboard! The Disney Treasure water attraction will follow Mickey and Minnie into an ancient temple. The “Curse of the Golden Egg” storyline will bring Guests on an adventure through the misadventure as you swirl through the waterways aboard the ship.

The Jumbeaux’s Sweets

A Zootopia-themed land may be coming to Shanghai, but Disney Treasure is getting a Zootopia-themed ice cream parlor! Featuring Nick and Judy, of course, the ice cream parlor will be serving up homemade gelato, ice cream, and sorbet. It’s the perfect spot to cool down after a day in the sun or a sweet treat after dinner.

Sarabi-themed Entertainment Space

The first of two adult-only spaces is the Sarabi-themed entertainment space inspired by The Lion King (1994). Disney describes it as the “central hub” for daytime activities and entertainment like “Match Your Mate,” “Family Time Game Show,” and more!

Skipper Society and Periscope Pub

A lounge inspired by Disney’s attraction Jungle Cruise and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954), Disney brings these two adult-only areas aboard. Guests can indulge in adult time with crafted cocktails, light bites, and craft brews.

The Walt Disney Theater

It wouldn’t be a Disney Cruise Line experience without one-of-a-kind shows! Two favorites, Disney Seas the Adventure and Beauty and the Beast (1991), will perform aboard. Additionally, “a third brand new Broadway-style show that will be released soon,” Disney releases.

Worlds of Marvel

Calling all Marvel fans! No, this is not a drill! Disney Treasure’s details portray yet another way Disney is so inclusive with its attractions, dining, and entertainment. There is truly something for everyone at Disney Parks, and that goes for the Disney Treasure now, too. An immersive Marvel-themed dining experience will be on board with not one but two “separate nights with distinct shows and dining inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” Disney details. The venue’s menu is worldly, with the potential of seeing your favorite superhero while you dine.

Suites and Staterooms

With plenty of options for accommodations, these new rooms look luxurious and comfy to set sail in. Disney Treasure staterooms are inspired by The Lion King, as the suites are crafted after “companions of Disney characters.” Suites are named Bagheera Royal Suites and Rajah Royal Suites as two examples of “faithful feline companions.”
