Disneyland Paris Resort has revealed its temporary attraction closures for July 2025. Several popular Disney Park rides are set to go dark for maintenance. For guests planning to visit, this could mean longer wait times and possible changes to their vacation plans.
According to the European Disney Resort’s monthly updates, a few fan-favorite attractions at Disneyland Park will be temporarily unavailable starting this summer. The rides affected include Pirates of the Caribbean, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, and the Molly Brown riverboat. These closures are part of the regular refurbishment schedule to ensure safety and maintenance across the park.
As noted by @DLPReport on X (formerly Twitter), four Disneyland Park (Paris) rides will be closed simultaneously through July 5. Dumbo the Flying Elephant will close on June 23 and reopen on July 5. Pirates of the Caribbean will also close on June 23 but is expected to reopen on July 12. Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and the Molly Brown riverboat will remain closed throughout the month.

In addition to these closures, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently down with a planned reopening in early summer 2025. If this attraction doesn’t reopen sometime soon, up to five major rides could be unavailable at Disneyland Paris in July, impacting guest experiences.
While ride closures can sometimes be inconvenient, they are necessary to keep Disney Park attractions in shape. Be sure to regularly check the Disneyland Paris Resort website for the most up-to-date information on any changes to the closures or refurbishment schedules.
