Multiple people were injured in a vehicle accident near Walt Disney World Resort property on Monday morning, resulting in the closure of several lanes of traffic. Here’s what Central Florida Disney Park guests need to know.
Accident at Disney World Leaves Several Injured
Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on March 30, law enforcement responded to a vehicular accident with injuries at Florida State Road 429 & Seidel Road, an intersection near Walt Disney World Resort property. @WDWActiveCrime, a user who monitors police scanner activity around the Central Florida Disney parks, posted the call log on X (formerly known as Twitter):

It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash, and law enforcement has not said how many people were hurt nor indicated the severity of their injuries. Typically, medical information is kept private unless a fatality results from a vehicle accident.
As is standard practice, Walt Disney World Resort has not commented publicly on this incident.
What Guests Need to Know
After the accident occurred, @WDWActiveCrime reported that law enforcement had closed all northbound lanes on Florida State Road 429 near the crash site:

Walt Disney World Resort guests are urged to use a different route when traveling near the site of the accident at the intersection of SR429 and Seidel Road. It’s unclear when the roadway will reopen, as crews investigate and clean up the aftermath of the vehicle crash.
