Disney World’s Rival Offers Free Beer

Free Beer SeaWorld

Few things in life are better than free beer and Disney World. However, sometimes you can only pick one.

Disney Drinks

Walt Disney World offers a variety of unique cocktails, adult drinks, and beverages from around the world (especially at EPCOT). However, even though one can sample beer flights at venues like Baseline Taphouse at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as many of the outdoor kitchens during EPCOT’s annual festivals, it may still cost you the standard Walt Disney World premium price.

Although there may be some affordable options, such as refillable beer at Typhoon Lagoon for $7 or $8 (after an initial purchase of $12 or $14), it’s not exactly free, is it?

Free Beer!

Another Orlando heavy hitter is entering the low-cost alcohol game: SeaWorld Park. The classic Florida theme park, not currently at war with Governor Ron DeSantis, is bringing back a previous free-beer promotion.

SeaWorld Orlando Guests who are over 21 years old can receive a free 7 oz. serving of beer through July 27. The complimentary beverage will be available for visitors at Waterway Grill Bar from 11 a.m. until one hour before the park closes. According to SeaWorld, the type of beer offered may vary daily. The free beer is being given away to promote the Park’s Summer Spectacular event. Park admission is required to receive the complimentary alcohol.

A New SeaWorld

In addition to cutting back on animal-based entertainment, they have also invested heavily in new attractions such as the Ice Breaker Roller Coaster and Pipeline: The Surf Coaster. The Park is also hosting a Guy Harvey Weekend May 19-20, where Guests can meet the world-renowned marine artists and conversationist.

About Steven Wilk

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
