New Villa Concept Art Revealed at One of Disney’s Most Iconic Resorts

New construction projects and massive renovations have been the theme of Disney Resorts lately, and we’ve got a first look at some of the newest accommodations at one of Disney’s most classic hotels.

At Walt Disney World, a new Disney Vacation Club tower just went vertical at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. And, major renovations are currently underway to revamp the lobby and add a new dining location to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, while Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is in the midst of its own reimagining.

On the West Coast, work is underway on the new Villas at Disneyland Hotel, which is set to open this September at the Disneyland Resort. The new addition to this iconic Disney Resort will be the fourth tower constructed at the location and will be just a short walk away from Downtown Disney.

The new villas will be housed within the 12-story tower, with each Guest room offering unique details that tie together classic Walt Disney Animation Studios films with the modern amenities Disney Resorts are known for.

Each room type features its own theme that helps to immerse Guests into the storytelling of these iconic films while keeping the deluxe accommodations they expect during their trips. The duo studio for instance, is inspired by The Jungle Book (1967) while the deluxe studio features theming from either Sleeping Beauty (1959) or The Princess and the Frog (2009).

Each floor and section of this expansive Guest room is inspired by a different Disney film, with the main suite on the first floor taking its cues from Bambi (1942), and en-suite bathrooms on the second floor inspired by Frozen (2013) and Moana (2016).  The multi-level suites sleep 12.
