Disneyland Park replaced its iconic Mickey Mouse entrance flowerbed with a Minnie Mouse-themed one this week for Women’s History Month, transforming one of the park’s most photographed landscaping features. Here’s the latest update from the original Southern California Disney park.

The horticulture team installed the Minnie Mouse design beneath the Disneyland Railroad Station on Main Street, U.S.A. On March 3, WDWNT shared this Facebook photo of the updated floral display:

Disneyland Resort makes this annual swap each March for Women’s History Month. The Minnie Mouse flowerbed will stay through at least the month’s end before reverting to Mickey Mouse.

Families photographing the Disneyland Park entrance throughout March will capture Minnie instead of Mickey, documenting this specific moment. The annual tradition acknowledges women’s contributions through one of Disneyland Resort’s most iconic visual landmarks—a gesture visible to millions even if they don’t understand its significance.

A Feminine Start to the Year at Disneyland Resort

The floral change accompanies Disneyland Resort’s “Women Who Make The Magic” Guided Tour, launched earlier this year for the park’s 70th anniversary. The two-hour experience spotlights female contributors typically absent from Disney Park narratives.

Guides share stories of Harriet Burns, Alice Davis, Mary Blair, Ruth Shellhorn, Leota Toombs, Kim Irvine, and Dorothea Redmond, explaining how they “got their start at The Walt Disney Company, made names for themselves, and paved the way for future generations to succeed and continue the unparalleled legacy of Disney storytelling.”

The “Women Who Make The Magic” Guided Tour costs $110 per person ages 3+. Disney Visa Cardholders qualify for discounts. Disneyland Park admission is separate. Most theme park ticket types require Disney Park Pass Reservations. An adult must accompany guests under 14 during the entire tour.
