Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park Closing For Days Due to Weather Forecasts

The recent months have seen some unexpected weather situations for Central Florida, putting stress on Walt Disney World Resort. Between Hurricane Ian and Tropical Storm Nicole (which quickly became Hurricane Nicole as it made landfall in Florida), Walt Disney World has had its work cut out for them trying to decide what Parks to close and when.

Another Disney Park is closing today and tomorrow due to the forecasted weather, but this time it’s Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park.

Although there aren’t any incoming storms forming on the horizon, Central Floridians might have noticed the chill that crept in last night and stayed into this morning.

Looking at the the Weather Channel’s forecast, we can see that the highest temperature for today and tomorrow in Kissimmee, Florida, is 69 degrees Fahrenheit. The colder weather is causing Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park to close today and tomorrow (which is admittedly ironic, given the name of the Park).

Looking at the upcoming week, we can also spot some rain. Sunday, November 20, is even forecasted to have a high temperature of 66 degrees Fahrenheit.

Disney’s official website confirms that Blizzard Beach Water Park will be closed today and tomorrow (November 17-18). But despite the rain and lower temperature forecasted for next week, Blizzard Beach’s official website still shows hours all week.

However, Floridian weather is historically fickle, and those showers could either vanish or strengthen just as quickly as the weather could warm up.
