Don’t Miss These 5 Amazing Places At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios takes guests on an epic adventure into themed areas, live shows, and several delicious restaurants. Guests can experience everything from entering the Star Wars universe and the Twilight Zone to rocking out with Aerosmith and seeing how big action stunts are pulled off safely. With so much to experience in one park, it’s no wonder that guests love the Hollywood magic that makes it all possible. The park is home to several distinct areas that are themed around the attractions and shows that are located there. Each area is home to some great spots that guests can enjoy time and time again. Here are five amazing places in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that guests can’t miss!

5. Shores of Echo Lake –

Echo Lake is located off to the left hand side of the park and is home to attractions like Star Tours – The Adventure Continues and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. This area of the park tends to have less foot traffic than others and features a small but beautiful little lake. Along the shores of Echo Lake, guests can stop and say hi to Gertie the Dinosaur or grab a bite to eat from Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner. Just stopping to take a few moments and enjoy the ambiance of Echo Lake is an amazing thing that shouldn’t be missed!

4. The Hollywood Tower Hotel’s Garden –

While the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is a pretty eerie attraction housed in a dilapidated and abandoned hotel, guests are treated to a awesome place while moving through the attraction’s queue. Guests pass through massive gates and soon find themselves in the hotel’s gardens which are full of thick fog and accompanied by some mournful and eerie jazz music in the distance. The gardens are amazing in that they completely remove guests from the park and make them feel as though they are truly about to enter the Twilight Zone.

3. Star Wars Launch Bay –

Head to the Star Wars Launch Bay to check out what all the Star Wars hype is about! Browse through the shop to see the incredible movie props from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story; watch the Star Wars saga 10-minute movie in the Star Wars Launch Bay Theater; visit with Star Wars characters such as Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and BB-8; and even enjoy a few video games while you’re at it!

2. Walt Disney Presents (formerly Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream) –

This classic attraction has recently undergone some changes! Walt Disney Presents continued to offer guests a chance to view the history of Walt, but now has the addition of a space for guests to preview what’s on the horizon. Models such as the Toy Story Land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and even Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction are available to preview. We’ve always loved this informative collection of memorabilia, designs, and historical models about Walt. Now we get to experience the past, present, and future of Walt Disney! It’s rarely crowded and provides a great way to cool off as it is totally air-conditioned.

1. Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams –

Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams is often overlooked and typically results in short wait times and plenty of one on one time with our two favorite mice. Here you can meet Sorcerer Mickey as Mickey sports his classic Fantasia outfit. Minnie Mouse is absolutely dazzling in her red carpet best. We love this spot for great photos, autographs, and character one on one time!

About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
