News of the 2022 holiday season at Walt Disney World has been released! Exciting experiences are making their grand return including Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park. But, let’s shift our attention to EPCOT where Disney has revealed that “a sweet journey” is returning to the Disney Park.
Not only is EPCOT’s beloved Candlelight Processional returning this holiday season, but we’re gearing up for additional holiday favorites such as the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays beginning November 25. Plus, the Park’s icon, Spaceship Earth, will be transformed with a holiday projection at night.
As you stroll through the four neighborhoods of EPCOT, the World Discovery neighborhood’s newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, will be getting a holiday music mash-up to ride along with.
But our favorite place to stroll in EPCOT is the World Showcase neighborhood. Get ready for the sweetest of journeys as Disney has announced the Holiday Cookie Stroll is returning, noting, “Holiday Cookie Stroll will return to EPCOT this year, inviting Guests to partake in a sweet scavenger hunt during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.”
The EPCOT Holiday Cookie Stroll is a favorite holiday scavenger hunt for 6 delicious reasons. Grab a Festival Passport. As you travel the World Showcase, follow along with the Cookie Stroll page which will show you five Holiday Kitchen spots to purchase a cookie treat.
With each purchase of a yummy cookie, you’ll have your Festival Passport stamped. Once you’ve completed the five cookie stops, you can get a 6th cookie for free to commemorate your scavenger hunt.
It’s a simple process – but an especially delicious one and fun for the whole family. As a Disney Tip – we especially recommend the Holiday Cookie Stroll if you’re looking for a good way to keep the kids occupied as you travel the World Showcase. They will look forward to the next stop to bite into a holiday sweet.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated as Disney reveals cookie selections and pricing. In the meantime, happy holiday planning!
