Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Is Returning to Walt Disney World!

It has been a long couple of years without the full lineup of holiday events around the Walt Disney World Resort, so we are excited to share the news that one Magic Kingdom tradition is making its long-awaited return this November.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be returning to Walt Disney World for the first time since 2019!

Disney confirmed that this festive after-hours event will be back in the Magic Kingdom on select dates this holiday season in today’s Halfway to the Holidays announcements, with the event running with a separate ticket from November 8-December 22, 2022.

The full list of dates include:

• November: 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27, 29
• December: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts at 7:00 p.m., but Guests with tickets are able to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. (Using your Party ticket to enter the park earlier is a great way to get some added value in on your ticket to the event!)

Returning to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year are Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, the Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show, and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, which features perimeter fireworks around the Magic Kingdom.

Additional events set to return for this year’s party include exclusive merchandise, new PhotoPass Magic Shot selection, with new magical photo ops with Disney characters and for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, a brand new dance party, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa around the Disney Park, and more.

Attraction overlays will once again take place on the Jungle Cruise, or the “Jingle Cruise,” as well as on Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and Mad Tea Party. “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas” will take over with a dance party in front of the Rockettower Plaza Stage, and “Disney Junior Jingle Jam” will offer a dance party for younger Guests in Storybook Circus.

Pricing has increased for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with tickets starting at $149 and running up to $199 per person depending on the date.

Christmas is a magical time of year to visit Walt Disney World with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party taking over select nights in the Magic Kingdom, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll, and gorgeous decorations and gingerbread displays around the Resorts.

It is never too early to start planning your Christmas trip to Walt Disney World. Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party go on sale on June 30, 2022 for Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, or July 7, 2022 for the general public and will be available to purchase on DisneyWorld.com.
