EPCOT’s New Sweet Treats Are a Must Try

A major part of a Disney trip is exploring all the new menu items. Disney is constantly rolling out new bites for Guests to indulge in. At Disney World, Guests have four Park options, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT, filled of options. In EPCOT, the World Showcase is a great spot to explore with your tastebuds. Offered in EPCOT is eleven countries, including Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

As Guests ponder through each pavilion, you are invited to experience that country’s culture. With the culture, of course, comes food. One of the most important roles of the pavilion is to be as authentic as possible to the country while including the Disney flair. In EPCOT’s Germany pavilion, chefs cook something sweet all day.

Disney offers two dining options in the Germany pavilion and this sweet treat shop. Sommerfest and Biergarten Restaurant are two opportunities to try German cuisine. The Oktoberfest celebration is year-long at this pavilion, regardless of whether you’re dining in. If you are looking for a delicious dessert, you have come to the right pavilion. Germany’s Karamell-Kuche serves up everything covered in one ingredient. Caramel!

At Karamell-Kuche, everything is smothered in caramel. If that doesn’t bring you to your knees, walking past the shop just might. With a nutty undertone, the strong smell of sugar pulls Guests in alone, always leaving a long line. As a partner with Werther’s Original Caramel, everything here is enjoyed with caramel in some way. Some menu items include caramel popcorn, caramel apples, fudge, cupcakes, and cookies.

  • Werther’s Original Caramel Snickerdoodle Cookie Sandwich: Two Werther’s Original Caramel filled snickerdoodle cookies layered with salted caramel buttercream frosting and caramel drizzle
  • Werther’s Original Caramel Strawberry Butter Bar: Chopped strawberries and strawberry-flavored Werther’s Original Caramel layered into buttery shortbread with oats
  • Werther’s Original Caramel Cookie Dough Cup: Edible chocolate chip cookie dough cup filled with Werther’s Original Caramel and drizzled with milk chocolate‌
