Summer is in full swing, but heatwaves across the country have gotten us even more eager for cooler weather. With cooler temperatures come pumpkin spice lattes, cozy sweaters, and new experiences to be enjoyed at Disney Parks!

Halloween Time is a massive event for Disneyland Resort, with many festive offerings to partake in. From September 2 to October 31, Guests can enjoy a whole new feel in the Parks, with decorations around every corner, spooky tunes, and creative ride overlays in honor of the fall season.

Standout ride transformations include Haunted Mansion Holiday, which dons an impressive The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) theme. Cars Land is another Halloween Time fan favorite, with characters dressed up in costumes and themed decorations lining the iconic Route 66 town.

Oogie Boogie Bash is a fun, separately ticketed Halloween party that Disneyland Resort offers, but there are plenty of experiences to enjoy within the Parks that Guests don’t need to pay extra money for. Take advantage of the brilliant photo ops around both Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure Park!

The infamous Mickey Pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A., is the perfect location for a memorable photo. In Disney California Adventure Park, take a spooky snapshot in front of the Headless Horseman, located off Buena Vista Street.

Another seasonal offering not to be missed is Plaza de la Familia, which takes place from September 2 through November 2. Located near the food court area, past Paradise Gardens Park, the Coco (2017) inspired event provides lively entertainment in honor of the traditions of Día de los Muertos. (This event is particularly fun for the kiddos!)

Don’t forget to pick up your favorite seasonal drink from Starbucks in either the Market House at Disneyland Park or Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe at Disney California Adventure Park. It’s always nice to have a drink on hand as you stroll through the shops and peruse the Disneyland, fall-themed merchandise.

With Halloween decorations starting to show up in stores, and a desire for cooler weather, Disney fans cannot wait for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park to transform for the season! About one month to go, Disney friends; let the countdown begin!
