As more changes are made to the Disney Parks experience, Guests become increasingly frustrated. Some Guests claim that the Genie+ and systems are causing problems for DAS (Disability Access Service) pass users.
Other Guests remember what the FastPass system was like and miss those days. Some Guests enjoy Genie+ and Lightning Lanes! But for the most part, these systems have been met with criticism.

Mindy, a Disneyland-based influencer (@FairyTaleMindy on Twitter), took this video and posted it to her Twitter, showing an incredibly long line in front of Soarin’ Around the World in Park.

From what we can see in the video, it looks as if the line extends from the ’s entrance and ends near the entrance to Smokejumpers Grill.

A few Twitter users have commented, each criticizing for letting the line get this long, obstructing DAS pass users, and defeating its own purpose.
Not only that but fans are baffled as to why this line could be so long. Although it was recently announced that Soarin’ Over California would return to Park for a limited time in 2023, that version won’t open until next March.
Are Guests rushing to experience Soarin’ Around the World before it changes for a limited time? Or have some Guests confused the dates, thinking Soarin’ Over California has already returned? Has Genie+ and already become obsolete? We can’t say for sure, but we can admit that the Lightning Lane line is bafflingly long in the video shown!
