Details Revealed for Disney’s New Land Inspired by ‘Frozen,’ ‘Tangled,’ and ‘Peter Pan’

Disney Parks and Resorts are constantly changing and unveiling new immersive experiences using all of the latest technologies to transport Guests into entirely different worlds. From the openings of Pandora – The World of Avatar and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, to upcoming lands themed to Frozen, Zootopia, and more at Disney Parks around the world, Guests can always expect to find new ways to be immersed in their favorite stories.

Earlier this year, the D23 Expo revealed some of the plans for concepts that Guests could see in the future at Disney Parks, and now we have more information and a first look at the initial designs for upcoming themed lands.

The newest immersive lands coming to a Disney Park will open in an expanded area of Tokyo DisneySea by spring 2024. The three themed areas that will make up Tokyo Disney Resort’s new port called Fantasy Springs, will include Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Neverland.

The Disney Parks Blog shared a first look at the concept art for the development of the new port, and noted that Guests staying at the new Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel will be able to take in a gorgeous view of this section of the Park from select rooms.

Frozen Kingdom will be set after the events of the 2013 Walt Disney Animation Studios film, allowing Guests to step into Anna and Elsa’s village with Elsa’s ice palace spotted off in the distance.

In Rapunzel’s Forest, Guests will see the tower where Rapunzel grew up located nearby a breathtaking forest with details from the film’s iconic lantern scene lighting up a restaurant and boathouse windows. Fans of Walt Disney World will surely be excited to see Tangled get more than a set of (albeit rather stunning) restrooms!

Have you ever wanted to explore the locales seen in Peter Pan (1953) or on Peter Pan’s Flight? Starting in 2024, you can! Peter Pan’s Never Land will feature experiences inspired by the Lost Kids, a pirate ship, and Pixie Hollow (where Tinker Bell resides) along with a restaurant located in a secret hideaway.

In addition to the new themes coming to the eighth port of Tokyo DisneySea, Guests can also book their stays at the new Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. This Resort offers breathtaking views of the Park with decor and theming featuring nods to Disney Princess and floral motifs and artwork.

Especially given the price increases at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, more Guests from the U.S. have been considering making the trip to Tokyo Disney Resort. If this sounds like you, be sure to check out this special offer that comes with unlimited churros in the theme parks, and have a magical trip!
