Popcorn buckets and souvenir sippers have been all the rage at Walt Disney World, especially over the past couple of years as several of these exclusive pieces have gone viral on social media.
While we have seen several incredibly popular souvenirs take off with fans, including the Mr. Toad Popcorn Bucket, Reindeer sipper, and many, many more, there remains one popcorn bucket that stands out from all the rest….

The Figment popcorn bucket first took the Disney fan community by storm when it was introduced during last year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
When it was first released, the bucket featuring this Disney Park’s loveable purple dragon created wait times of over two hours. Disney quickly remedied the situation by making the bucket available via mobile order (a strategy that has worked so well with later popcorn buckets, like November 2022’s Mr. Toad release, that a large quantity of buckets were left over well after the “limited edition” timeframe ended, and the products were made available to Guests in Disney Springs.
Now, Disney has confirmed that the Figment popcorn bucket will return for this year’s event:

The 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from January 13-February 20, however, Disney has not yet specified if the bucket will debut immediately at the start of the festival or at a specific date.
While Disney merchandise resellers will likely be rampant (as they always are when a new popcorn bucket, or well, anything, releases) it does seem that Disney has at least somewhat remedied the issue by making more buckets available in the past. As such, we are hopeful that if you are visiting the festival this year you will have a fair chance of picking up a popcorn bucket.
