The Infamous Figment Popcorn Buckets Are BACK! – With a New Way to Purchase

Roses are red. Violets are blue. Figment is back! But may sell out soon.

If you’ve been following Walt Disney World news lately, then you’re sure to have seen the buzz surrounding the Figment Popcorn Bucket that swept Disney fans into a frenzy.

Back in January, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts began celebrating the worlds of art, performance, and food with some incredible shows, experiences, and stalls selling artists’ work.

Of course, we all remember that the longest line that week was not for an attraction, to meet an artist, or even for the Disney on Broadway Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre.

No, the longest line was for a popcorn bucket. And now, that popcorn bucket has returned!

Any Guest who visited EPCOT in January for the Festival of the Arts would have encountered a huge line that formed for the Pop! Eats stand near Port of Entry as Guests waited as long as seven hours to get the all-new Figment Popcorn Bucket and his rainbow popcorn.

On January 19, the popular Figment Popcorn Buckets sold out, disappointing many fans of the little purple dragon and his attraction Journey Into Imagination With Figment, starring Eric Idle.

Disney strictly enforced a limit of two Figment Popcorn Buckets per person, but it did appear that some families were getting two buckets each and ended up often with eight or ten buckets per group. 

Now, we can reveal that the infamous Figment Popcorn Bucket is back in stock at EPCOT in Walt Disney World, with a different method of purchase.

Guests wanting one of these highly sought-after pieces of merchandise will be required to Mobile Order on the My Disney Experience app to get their hands on one.

To find a Mobile Order window, simply search for “Figment” in the My Disney Experience app to find the checkout process and confirm a slot.

This is a change to the original method of purchasing, which involved queueing in person in often hours-long lines.

Figment’s character is featured prominently throughout the festival at EPCOT, and the popcorn bucket allows Guests to refill it with more popcorn for just $2.25, which is about the best snack value at Walt Disney World.

Many Disney fans were aghast when re-seller listings on eBay began. Some of the re-sellers were selling the limited edition bucket for over $800 when the bucket itself costs only $25 at the theme park.

We are not sure how long the bucket will stay in stock at Walt Disney World, so if you’re desperate to get your hands on one, we recommend heading to EPCOT as soon as you can.
