Everyone loves Goofy. How could you not? He’s silly, fun loving, and charming even when he makes mistakes (which is quite often). For this reason, many Disney fans head to the Disney World parks intent on getting a good Goofy fix. Lucky for them, this is pretty easy to do. So, where should an avid Goofy fan go to find the very best in Goofy fun? Try the experiences below for a start.

1. Goofy’s Candy Co.

Anyone who has been to Disney World in recent years has seen the Goofy’s Candy Co. brand. This candy is sold throughout the parks and is super easy to find. What many people don’t realize is that there’s actually an entire store dedicated to this brand that’s owned by Goofy himself! The store can be found in Disney Springs and is filled to the brim with all kinds of amazing sweet treats. While you’re there, be sure to try a Goofy’s Glaciers beverage. We especially like the apple flavor, which tastes just like real apple juice!

2. Barnstormer

Now that you’ve found a store dedicated to everyone’s favorite goof, how does a ride sound? Barnstormer is a great little kiddie coaster located in the back of Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland, and was created by our very own Goofy. The entire queue shows a series of ridiculous circus stunts the silly cartoon character has attempted to pull off, and ends in the big finish: a twisty, turny plane ride which you’re expected to participate in. Don’t worry though, Goofy’s helpers always return safely to land.

3. Chef Mickey’s

Though not run by Goofy, Chef Mickey’s is a wonderful place to catch the guy. He tends to hang out in the dining area, dressed in full chef garb and ready to sign autographs and dance with eager kiddos. It’s definitely a ton of fun for the whole family. Be sure to try Goofy’s cheese pizza while you’re there. It’s his specialty!

4. Move It, Shake It, MousekeDance It!

Another great opportunity to dance with Goofy is during the “Move It, Shake It, MousekeDance It!” dance party on Main Street, U.S.A. In Magic Kingdom. This super fun celebration is a performance, a parade, and a party all rolled into one. The characters come down off their floats and dance with audience members partway through the show, and Goofy is always among them. Look for your favorite silly friend, and if you head his way, you might even get to dance with him!

5. Mickey’s Friendship Faire

Several times each day, Mickey and his friends perform on the castle stage. This performance is aptly named Mickey’s Friendship Faire and includes all of the Fab Five, plus several princesses and princes. It’s a wonderful story about the importance of friendship, and a great opportunity to see the goof onstage.

6. Pixar Short Film Festival

If you’d rather see Goofy in 3D, you do have that option as well. The Pixar Short Film Festival can be found in Epcot’s Future World and is a great way to get away from the sun for a bit. One of the animated shorts features Goofy and the rest of the gang in 3D. The other shorts? Well, they’re wonderful too, even if they don’t have anything at all to do with Goofy.

7. Meet-and-Greets

Looking to meet Goofy? Try these locations:

  • Pete’s Silly Sideshow — This location is in Magic Kingdom—quite near the Barnstormer ride, in fact. Goofy meets guests alongside Donald and wears his circus attire while doing so.
  • Dinoland USA — In Animal Kingdom, Goofy can be found in DinoLand U.S.A., where he dons his brightest-colored clothes and meets his friends with Pluto by his side.
  • The Epcot Character Spot (relocated) — If its classic Goofy you’re looking for, look no further than the Epcot Character Spot (currently relocated due to construction), where you can find many classic characters.

8. Mickey’s PhilharMagic

Was the 3D Short at Epcot not enough to curb your craving for 3D video? Your next stop should be Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom. This Fantasyland show is mostly focused on Donald. However, you do get a little taste of Goofy’s goofiness right at the beginning of the show, and we love it!

9. Goofy Caramel Apples

Caramel apples are a Disney World favorite. They’re delicious, filling, and they come in many adorable styles. One of our favorites is the Goofy caramel apple, which is quite clearly inspired by the cartoon and even includes a tiny marshmallow Goofy hat.
