She also discusses her mental health; her anxiety devolved into a challenging disorder and was soon accompanied by depression as well. Anybody suffering from symptoms of anxiety and depression can relate to how difficult the two disorders can make every day life. Clark writes, “While I’d been in therapy and on medication for years, I was still miserable in every waking minute of the day and would long for a time when I could take another trip to my happy place.”

After moving into an apartment only 10 minutes away from Walt Disney World Resort, she writes, “I can wholeheartedly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my mental health.”
She continues, describing how living next to the Disney Parks motivates her and creates a more social environment. Although Walt Disney World hasn’t magically taken her anxiety and depression away, her mental and physical well-being have greatly improved after making the daunting move. Clark writes,
While the depression and anxiety don’t go away, I have a place I can visit to let go of my problems, even if it’s only temporary. I can take a step away from my intrusive thoughts and difficult feelings and simply bask in the place where I feel happiest.
