Guest Poses as a Homeless Man Inside Disney Park for an Uncomfortable Prank

The rise of social media trends have certainly brought on some rather odd behavior at Disney Parks, and the latest “prank” seems like it is taking things to the next level.

Just when we thought we had seen it all at Walt Disney World, a group of Guests devised a plan to pose as a homeless person and panhandle inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

In the bizarre video shared to both TikTok and YouTube by @creationsross and Vlog Creations respectively, the content creator can be seen changing up his wardrobe and entering Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park where he ends up posing as a homeless man.

From pretending to sleep nearby the Oasis Exhibits as Guests head into Discovery Island, to holding a cardboard sign in Asia, the video shows the man panhandling and capturing the reactions of Guests around him at the Disney Park:

The full-length video on YouTube and the above clip go on to show the man going through trash cans around the Park and even meeting Donald at his character meet and greet location in DinoLand, U.S.A. (all the while being totally barefoot.)

While meeting Donald, the man asks if he has any spare change to which Donald does his best given the odd encounter along with his character attendant and PhotoPass photographer who appear visibly uncomfortable during the interaction.

At various points during the YouTube video, Cast Members can be seen speaking to the man asking him to put on shoes (as is one of the Park’s rules), along with a Security Cast Member who asks to see the group’s Park tickets. While the creators did not provide an update on whether or not they were asked to leave the Park, or if they left on their own, expressions from Guests and Cast Members in the video seem to indicate that people around them were unsettled by the situation…which may have been what they were going for?

This is not the first time content creators have taken to Walt Disney World, or other theme parks, to create bizarre content. We have repeatedly seen videos where Guests have taken perplexing and dangerous measures like dipping their feet into the water of Splash Mountain, or using water from Pirates of the Caribbean to cook with.

Panhandling is technically not against any of Walt Disney World’s official rules, though we aren’t sure where the joke here is as homelessness is a serious issue, still there are some points where this kind of behavior could certainly be considered a grey area:

Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others.

Wearing shoes while in the theme parks is an especially important rule that is not only put into place as a courtesy to other Guests but also for everyone’s safety so Guests do not get hurt by stepping on anything (especially pins that may have fallen and are backless.)

Since the strange trends seem to keep on coming (and we do not believe they would be worth getting banned from the Parks over which does happen on occasion) we always recommend reviewing Walt Disney World’s rules before visiting.
