PHOTOS: Guests Appalled After Finding Mold on the Bed in This Luxurious Disney Hotel

It’s no secret that a visit to Disney has become pricier than ever, making a trip to a theme Park and a stay at a Resort hotel difficult for some Disney fans.

For those willing and able to shell out hundreds to over a thousand dollars for an ultra-luxurious Disneyland Resort hotel experience, it stands to reason that they’d expect an experience nearly free from error.

However, some Guests have begun sharing their negative Disneyland Resort hotel experiences on social media.

One Guest (user u/mcleb014 on Reddit) shared an image showing what appears to be moldy spots on the bed frame at the Disneyland Hotel. They wrote in a comment below the photo, going more in-depth about their experience:

This was an anniversary trip and an engagement trip (she said yes!). We had to change rooms 4 times because of mice, mold, potent chemical smells, and because management let us stay in a suite for one night for all the trouble. Management at the hotel was very apologetic and made everything right for us. But the Cast Members…I just wished they had more empathy and understanding about this. It’s just very weird to say Management had more Disney magic and empathy than the front desk. I understand things are tough overall for the resort…but this cannot fly.

Considering how special an anniversary and engagement trip is meant to be, it’s unfortunate to hear that this Guest had a “not so great” experience during their visit. It’s even more upsetting to find out they’re not alone.

I had commented on the Disneyland Hotel bed mold earlier, here is the photo of the beer cans I found.

Another recent Guest (user u/RMAutoSport on Reddit) commented on the same post and then later made a post of their own, showing empty beer cans hidden beneath the bedside table.

They reveal in the comments that they were less worried about getting their money back but were more annoyed and concerned with taking the blame for the mess than anything.

Over at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel (the most expensive Disneyland Resort hotel), things aren’t much better, if Guest accounts are anything to go by.

The photos above were shared online by an anonymous Guest who wanted to show how dirty and dusty some of the hotel room was upon check-in.

Considering how expensive it is to stay in these luxurious hotels, we can understand why Guests are finding fault with the standards of cleanliness and responses lacking empathy.
