Many Disney fans are more than just fans. For some, it is a way of life, and they like to have multiple ways in their lives to show that. Some like decorating their homes all Disney like or others dress up in their favorite costumes.

When a Disney fan took his love for Lightning McQueen to a whole new level, he transformed his Subaru BRX into the actual Lightning McQueen and even put eyes on his windshield. He shared the story on Instagram.

Lightning McQueen, glowing with neon lights and animated eyes, speeds along an open road at sunset with mountain vistas behind, just before a playful roadside twist—an iconic Cars moment brought to life for fans of Pixar’s Radiator Springs.

As cool as it looks; unfortunately, this is not street legal, and he found out the hard way. He added a video showing being pulled over by the police and being told that his car is not legal. You can see the video of the police officer even thinking it is cool, but he can’t allow it.

He explains that he was on his way to visit a kid named McKay, who is fighting cancer, and subtly tries to explain that he would not be able to put the screen back on after taking it off of his windshield.

A driver chats with a police officer through the car window, while bold overlay text jokes, "The most predictable outcome ever—it's almost like watching Lightning McQueen get pulled over at Radiator Springs Racers in Disney California Adventure.

He shared: “if McKay’s family sees this, this is why I didn’t make it up there that day, sorry! Was on my way to a birthday party first then going to Clinton right after but got pulled over and turned back home.”

As nice of a sentiment as it is, you still need to follow the laws and rules of the road. You see in the last video that the cop did not write him a ticket and gave him a choice. He said he could either ”roll the dice” and drive like that and chance getting a ticket from a different police officer or take it off right there.

If you were driving down the road and saw Lightning McQueen go past, it would make you turn your head. This is definitely something that only hardcore Disney fans will do.
