Calling all Disney foodies! We have some news coming out of EPCOT’s newest Walt Disney World Resort restaurant, Space 220. Take note as menu changes are underway.
In the midst of EPCOT’s massive overhaul into four neighborhoods, we saw the arrival of Space 220 Restaurant in the World Discovery (former Future World) portion of the Disney Park. This stunning restaurant is seemingly simple enough from the outside but just ride the space elevator into “space” and be prepared to be wowed.
The restaurant makes Guests feel like they are 220 miles above Earth’s surface at the Centauri Space Station, as the massive “windows” overlook outer space. Even though Disney recently opened up more dining reservations via the Space 220 Lounge, it’s still nearly impossible to get a restaurant or lounge reservation at this impressive restaurant.
With its grand opening in September 2021, Space 220 Restaurant is already making changes to its menu with stellar new dishes and enhancements made to previously fan-favorite plates.
First up, let’s start with dessert, shall we? Introducing the new Short Cake – Matcha Air Cake, Mascarpone Mousse, and Strawberries. Available as a Supernova Sweets (dessert) option for three-course prix fixe dinner, or $14 add-on to two-course prix fixe lunch.
Also new to the menu is the Steak Salad – Marinated Filet Tips, Iceberg Wedges, Cucumber, Cherry Tomatoes, Chives, Blue Cheese Crumble, and Horseradish Dressing. Available as a Star Course (Entrée) option for lunch only.
The yummy Quinoa Burger has been added to the menu which is a Quinoa-Vegetable Burger, Baby Arugula, Tomato, Yellow Beet Citrus, and Mayonnaise. Available as a Star Course (Entrée) option for lunch only.
The last newbie on the list is a Shrimp Cocktail – U 10 Shrimp and Classic Horseradish Cocktail Sauce. Available on the Flight Bites lounge menu.
In addition to the brand new items above, Space 220 has also revealed some favorite dishes have been given upgrades, with new flavors and ingredients. Check out the list below.
Space Glazed Duck Breast – Fried Jasmine Rice, Asparagus, Pineapple, and Orange Hoisin Sauce. Available as a Star Course (Entrée) option for dinner only.

Whether you’ve had a chance to dine at Space 220 or have yet to snag a reservation, it’s one to try again and again – especially now with more new options. Guests can savor a delicious two or three-course prix fixe meal, or enjoy bites in a lounge setting.
We will say this change in the menu looks like has resulted in the removal of a few items, including the beloved Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake from the Supernova Sweet section of the menu. Check out the previous menu here.
