Many new additions are coming to Disneyland Paris for the 30th Anniversary Celebration. Avengers Campus will be joining the Park and there will be lots of new food and beverage options. There is so much to celebrate at this Park.
One thing that has been causing quite the talk is Minnie’s new attire. As you can see below, she’s not wearing her classic red and white polka dot dress. Instead, she is wearing blue and a black polka dot pants suit along with a matching bow.
In honor of Women’s History Month, beginning March 6th, 2022, she will begin wearing her new look at Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris.

This new attire will only be seen at Disneyland Paris Resort and will not be a part of Walt Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California.
Fans have been very torn with this new look. Some have shown support, while others have criticized it and voiced their opinions.

For example, some Guest shared comments in support of this new wardrobe like Emma P.: What’s wrong with girls wearing pantsuits?? I love them!
On the other side of the debate Melanie S. said: What’s next? Pants suits for Cinderella, Snow White and Belle? This seems like a really bad marketing decision. If you see red and white polka dots with a splash of black, you think Minnie Mouse. Minnie has always had great dresses. Why can’t we celebrate that? Why are dresses suddenly a ‘bad’ thing? I loved Minnie’s khaki outdoor skirt attire that she often wore for meet n greets in Animal Kingdom. Are we to believe that feminists have been aggressively demanding this change? What is the rationale? I’m a 56 year old female mechanical engineer and I totally prefer Minnie in her cute dresses.
With all of this going on, Minnie Mouse has been wearing pants with Disney Cruise Line. Interestingly, the controversy did not spread there but that is part of her Captain Minnie uniform. That may be the difference. Of course, we love Captain Minnie and Mickey, and they make cruising even more magical.
