Disney’s Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom theme parks have no shortage of quick service and table service restaurants to delight every taste.

Disney Springs also boasts an abundance of eateries for the hungry Guest.

But what if you want to explore the culinary delights of your own Disney Resort Hotel, or branch out and see what other Resort Hotels on property have to offer?

Here are some of our favorite dishes that can be found at restaurants at Disney Resorts. Can you name the restaurant?

Zebra Domes

I’ve heard Guests rave about Zebra Domes at Walt Disney World for years. Appropriately named, they’re little nuggets of Amarula Cream Liquor Mousse on a cake base, under a dome of white chocolate, with drizzles of chocolate to give them their trademark striped appearance.

They’re iconic, beautiful, and one of the most popular snacks in WDW.

The only problem is that you might have to go a bit out of your way to sample them. Zebra Domes are a creation of Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and they’re part of the dessert section of the buffet.

We’ve also found them at Mara, Animal Kingdom Lodge’s food court. Younger Guests might not be huge fans, as you can taste the alcohol flavor, but anyone who likes tiramisu really should make the trek to Animal Kingdom Lodge to indulge in these beauties!

Bison Cheeseburger

Think you’ve tried every burger at Walt Disney World? Not until you’ve tasted the Bison Cheeseburger!

This unique entrée comes with Bacon, Sweet Crispy Onion Straws, Marionberry (think: blackberry meets raspberry) Sauce, and Garlic Aioli. It’s perfectly cooked and juicy, with myriad flavors that just work together.

You’ll find the Bison Cheeseburger at Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, known for its adventurous bites.

Of course, this restaurant is also known for its panoramic views of Bay Lake. So whether you’re staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or not, it’s well worth making plans to enjoy a meal here.

Kitchen Sink

If you’re looking for an ice cream dessert to share with the whole family (or you’re really, really hungry), the Kitchen Sink – as in, “everything but the” – is the way to go.

It features five different kinds of ice cream, Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter, Brownie Pieces, and Snickers Pieces. Oh, and on top of all that, it’s drenched in every other topping in the place.

Where can you find this magical dessert? Only at Beaches and Cream, at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Maybe you’ve been working up an appetite at Stormalong Bay, or you’ve come here from a different Disney Resort Hotel after hearing rave reviews – whatever the reason, Beaches and Cream is a happening spot for comfort food and frosty treats.

Seriously, though, bring some friends – the Kitchen Sink officially serves four!

Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two

This may be one of the priciest meals we’ve ever seen at Walt Disney World, at $140 (which may give you a clue as to what restaurant it might be). But for seafood lovers, it doesn’t get much better than this!

The Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two stars Maine Lobster, Snow Crab, Tuna Tartare, Jumbo Shrimp, Mussels, Scallop Ceviche and Charred Octopus Salad. That’s a lot of seafood!  This fabulous feast of a dish is part of the Chef’s Signature Offerings.

Any guesses? You’ll find the Chilled Admiral’s Tower for Two at Yachtsman Steakhouse, at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Most Guests rightly think of steak when they think of this table service restaurant, but Yachtsman Steakhouse offers an impressive amount of culinary variety (they even customized several appetizers to make a meal for a vegetarian member of our party once).

Bread Pudding

There’s something so comforting about a plate of warm banana bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and a generous amount of caramel sauce. And this is the most famous bread pudding on Walt Disney World property!

We did leave out one important word in the title of this signature dish, to avoid giving the name of the restaurant away.

Of course, it’s ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. ‘Ohana’s Bread Pudding has quite a fan base, understandably. I still remember the first time I ate at Kona Café, and was introduced to their amazing sweet bread and macadamia honey butter. It seems the Polynesian Resort sure knows how to make great bread!

Mickey Beignet

Chances are, if you’re a Disney fan, you’re up for any food shaped like everyone’s favorite celebrity mouse. Mickey Bars, Mickey Waffles, why not Mickey Beignets?  For anyone who hasn’t had the pleasure, a beignet is a deep-fried fritter, and they’re very popular in New Orleans.

It makes sense, then, that the Mickey Beignet would hail from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter! Previously, they were offered at Sassagoula Floatworks, but it seems like they may have moved to Scat Cat’s Club – Café, next door.  Specialty Mickey Beignets come in raspberry, chocolate, and cinnamon sugar flavors (how to choose?).

There’s even a Mickey Beignet Sundae that smothers the beignet in vanilla ice cream with sauce, whipped cream and powdered sugar. And if you visit after 11:00 pm, you can indulge in the adult version: Boozy Beignets, featuring Baileys, Kahlua, or RunChata.

Bottom Line

Did you guess each Walt Disney World Resort Hotel restaurant?

If not, not to worry – maybe it just means there’s some resort-hopping in-store during your next WDW vacation!  Happy culinary travels, and bon appétit!
