Night of a Million Lights to Return This Year in a New Location

Night of a Million Lights is one of the most beloved holiday traditions in Central Florida, offering Guests a chance to explore beautiful light displays while supporting the incredible work of Give Kids the World Village.

The event was started at Give Kids the World Village on a limited capacity basis before opening up to full capacity during the last holiday season. The organization confirmed earlier this year, however, that they would be retiring from hosting the festivities. Now, we have an update on Night of a Million Lights, which should please Guests hoping to support the organization and those who might still be missing one of Disney’s former holiday events.

Night of a Million Lights will return to Central Florida this holiday season with the event now hosted by Island H2O Water Park. The event will still support Give Kids the World Village, it will just be hosted off-site at the new venue.

This year’s Night of a Million Lights will take place throughout the course of 52 nights this holiday season, running from November 11, 2022-January 1, 2023. Along with millions of dazzling lights expertly put together in impressive displays, Night of a Million Lights includes a variety of activities and live entertainment that the whole family can participate in together.

The lights used for this event were originally created for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights that used to take place on the Streets of America at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so if you are missing this classic Disney holiday tradition, you may enjoy seeing the lights up and running in their new home all while supporting a worthwhile cause.

Night of a Million Lights will continue to support Give Kids the World Village, which encompasses 89 acres of accommodations, recreational offerings, and more all specifically created for critically ill children and their families who visit Central Florida from around the world for magical cost-free wish vacations.

This seasonal event is among the most popular things to do during winters in Central Florida, with many nights expected to sell out. As such, we recommend ordering your tickets in advance for Night of a Million Lights. Visit GKTW.org to purchase tickets.
