Pixie-Dusting: A Walt Disney World Secret.

It took a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, but now adults can experience some true pixie magic during a trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

Adults have been enviously watching the little ones get fancy makeovers from Bippity Boppity Boutique and fun face paints at Disney Parks for years. While this has always been strictly for children, there is a secret way to get a little glam yourself on your next Disney World trip.

It’s called “pixie dusting”.

When you get pixie dusted, a Cast Member will ask you to make a wish under a little faith, trust, and literal pixie dust. Although the pixie dust is just some glitter that is sprinkled over your head, we have faith that there is definitely a bit of magic in that glitter!

The good news is, pixie dusting is completely free and anyone over the age of 3 can get dusted. Yes, even adults.

Guests can head on over to Fantasyland for this pixie-dusting experience, which is located inside Sir. Mickey’s in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort. All you have to do is walk in and let a Cast Member know you want to be pixie-dusted.

This experience was brought back around for Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration and may not stick around forever, so we definitely recommend partaking before it’s potentially gone again.

There are few magical experiences like this that still exist in Walt Disney World that are actually free. So you’ll definitely want to take advantage of this if you don’t mind a little glitter.  We think it’s a great idea that will make you look extra magical during your day walking around Disney World. Whoever is sitting behind you on Space Mountain might be in for a surprise if you have just come from Sir Mickey’s, but never mind that. A little pixie dust never hurt anybody.
