Another exciting experience is making its way back to fans, and we’ve got the latest scoop! We knew that The Official Walt Disney Studios Tour, Presented By D23, would be arriving sometime this year, but Disney just released dates for its return.
From August 11 to November 5, D23 Members can enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour tour of The Walt Disney Studios. Some of the iconic locations included in the experience are Walt Disney’s office suite and the Legends Plaza.

On weekends, Guests are taken behind the scenes of the Walt Disney Archives department, with a Disney Archivist joining them on the tour! What a memorable experience!
Guests will be taken around the original Animation building, where classic films like Cinderella (1950), Lady and the Tramp (1955), and The Jungle Book (1967) were imagined. Another fascinating part of the tour includes a stroll through historic Disney soundstages used in live-action movies.
Guests get an inside look into the making of films like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954), Mary Poppins (1964), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). The Legends Plaza is another intriguing location on the tour!

The beautiful spot honors Disney creators who have contributed to the company’s legacy. True Disney historians and aficionados will be treated to iconic sites on the lot, which were featured in productions such as Mickey Mouse Club (1955), The Absent-Minded Professor (1961), Saving Mr. Banks (2013), Muppets Most Wanted (2014), and ABC’s black-ish (2014)!
One of the most coveted aspects of the tour is the Walt Disney Archives portion, which explores historical Disney collections and includes a stroll through Walt Disney’s restored 3H office suite. The incredible spot is adorned with original furnishings, awards, and items from Walt Disney’s personal collection.

After this portion of the tour is through, Guests get to take home a special gift to remember their exclusive experience. They can also do some shopping at the Disney Studio Store and Employee Center, which contains special items only available on the Studio lot!
