Pride Month is officially here and Walt Disney World has added lots of festive new sweets and treats to its celebration in recognition of the LGBTQIA+ community.
These snacks are available all month long around the Walt Disney World Resort, with some being Pride-themed takes on classic Disney treats and some new creations altogether. Let’s take a look!
Mickey Pride Cake Pops in the Magic Kingdom
At outdoor kiosks throughout the Magic Kingdom, Guests can pick up new Pride-inspired Mickey cake pops! The cake pops are confetti cake flavored and come with white and dark chocolate dips.
Pride Liege Waffle from Connections Cafe & Eatery
EPCOT’s newest quick-service restaurant has already made a name for itself for its delicious burgers, salads, and meatball pizza. One of the desserts at Connections Eatery has quickly moved up the must-eat list for many Guests as well. The Pride Liege Waffle is a new take on the restaurant’s permanent dessert fixture, with housemade brioche dough drizzled with rainbow icing and pearl sugar.
Pride Lunchbox Tart from Woody’s Lunchbox
Woody’s Lunchbox at Disney’s Hollywood Studios already has one of Walt Disney World’s most fun desserts with its homemade pop tarts, and this tart created just for Pride Month looks even more delicious. With a guava-filled pastry, this tart uses a flavor that has not yet been featured in the restaurant’s seasonal rotation, and it’s covered in purple vanilla fondant with rainbow sprinkles, sour candy and a blue chocolate Mickey.
Pride Cocktail from Nomad Lounge
You probably do not need an excuse to visit Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but just in case this new cocktail might just be impossible to turn down. The Pride Cocktail is made with Absolut Citron Vodka, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Cruxland Gin, pineapple juice, sour mix, Chambord, a splash of Sprite, Blue Curaçao, and a glow cube.
Jewel of Pride from Amorette’s Patisserie
For something sweet to celebrate Pride in Disney Springs, head over to Amorette’s Patisserie to try the Jewel of Pride. Known for their outstanding cakes, this one is a dark chocolate chiffon cake with salted caramel butter popcorn mousse, chocolate-covered pretzel with candy pecans pieces and white chocolate glaçage finished off with a chocolate ring and a rock candy. It’s almost too gorgeous to eat!
Mickey Rice Krispie Treat
A favorite seasonal snack for any occasion is a Mickey Rice Krispie Treat! You can find these rainbow sugared treats at multiple locations around Walt Disney World including at the Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Treats in the Magic Kingdom, and at Disney’s Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Company in Disney Springs.
