We Finally Have a Return Date For a Grand Floridian Favorite!

After the chaos of the holidays and 20,000 steps walking around a Disney theme park, most Guests leave a Walt Disney World vacation claiming they need a vacation from their vacation.

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom often head to Disney Springs or one of Disney’s two Water Parks – Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach – for some relaxation after a busy day riding attractions and seeing Disney’s entertainment.

Now, a new option for some serious relaxation has a reopening date, along with some new exciting theming!

At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, the luxury spa part of the popular hotel’s name has been missing for nearly two years.

Now, Disney Tips can reveal that the spa will be reopening on January 26, 2022! Disney Parks shared the news on its Instagram:

The Grand Floridian Spa is opening Jan. 26 at @WaltDisneyWorld! Your path to relaxation after the holiday rush awaits!

After a long period of closure, we are so excited to see the luxurious Grand Floridian spa return to Walt Disney World after the busy holiday season. The spa invites Guests to escape with treatments for the mind and body.

According to Disney, the Florida spa has been updated with new decor and theming. The Disney Parks Blog writes:

The Grand Floridian Spa has been refreshed with the iconic Victorian-style theming of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Once inside the spa, you’ll be transported to a tranquil Floridian garden where you’ll experience serenity with calming lighting and comforting music.

Guests from the Deluxe hotel and the Parks can choose from a wide selection of massages and treatments, which will feel particularly special after the rush of Christmas and a day in one of the Orlando Resort’s theme parks:

Guests of The Grand Floridian Spa can choose from an array of treatments and massages. Experience The Grand Massage or Massage for Two, which incorporates botanical lotions and other elements to release tension and fatigue and replenish the mind, body and spirit. Or destress with Nature’s Renewal Hydrating Treatment, which combines a full-body exfoliation with a hydrating botanical massage.

A full range of salon services are also available including haircuts, styling and The Grand Manicure and Pedicure Treatments. The Grand Floridian Spa’s nail treatments provide the ultimate pampering experience with exfoliation, mask, massage and choice of nail lacquer.

Spa guests are also invited to visit a relaxation lounge before or after their treatments.

The Disney spa offers spa treatments ranging from massage therapies, massages for couples, warm stone massages, and an expectant mother massage.

You can also choose from foot therapy, hydrating treatments, purifying body exfoliation, facials, and anti-aging services.

The Disney Resort can also pamper you with manicures, pedicures, nail polish changes, and nail enhancements.

Disney recommends making advance reservations for treatments, which can be made here beginning today for reservations starting January 26, 2022.
