Hopefully, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith was not on the top of your must do list if you are at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today December 30th. According to the My Disney Experience App, it is closed, as you can see here.

The attraction was closed yesterday, and when Guests asked Cast Member standing outside when it would reopen, they said they did not know, and it was closed due to technical difficulties.

In all of 2021, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was only closed for five days total. Two of those days were on December 1st and 2nd after a small fire in the wheel drive motor that was immediately put out.

With the Park’s reaching capacity, there are long lines for the most popular attractions, as you can see below.

For those planning on hitting the Parks tomorrow, it may be a good time to make that extra purchase and buy DisneyGenie+. Although it will not include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, your other favorite rides are a part of this paid service.  You can buy an individual Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance though.

This attraction opened in 1999 is extremely popular and does have a Single Rider line that can help if you are trying to cut down your wait time. 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds is a huge thrill, and the theming is incredible.

It is common for rides to shut down for short periods of time, but it is always unfortunate when an attraction is closed for more than a day. Hopefully, it will be up and running again soon. Just know that Walt Disney World has your safety as their number one priority, so they want to make sure it running properly.
