One of the coolest jobs at Disney has to be a Disney Resort Ambassador. This month, Walt Disney World held the biggest fan event of the year, Destination D23. We previously reported all of the reveals from the weekend event, like new attractions, a Figment meet and greet, and a new Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Adventure.

What’s most unique about the program is having representatives from all the Disney Parks attend the event. Two Disney Resort Ambassadors, Phoebe and Witty, flew all the way from Shanghai to represent as the Shanghai Disney Resort Ambassadors. While you can only imagine the fun that ensued from participating in the Destination D23 event and getting some downtime to hang with fellow ambassadors from around the world, they are sharing with us their favorite parts of visiting Disney World.

Disney Cast Life is a group of all of the special Cast Members that represent Disney. They are people “dedicated to bringing happiness and joy to the world,” Disney Cast Life writes. As a part of the role as a Disney Resort Ambassador, they serve for two years as the official spokesperson of their home Resort. For example, the ambassadors for Disney World “Also represent more than 75,000 Cast Members and play a key role in bringing the magic of Disney out into our Florida community, offering them a special relationship with the Resort,” Disney details.

The role comes with some exciting opportunities and plenty of work in continuously bringing the magic to Guests all over the world. So it’s only fair the Global Disney Ambassador Team got together and had some fun in the sun.

Disney Ambassador Team Experiences Disney World

While their roles as Disney Ambassadors seem so cool, Phoebe and Witty let us in on the work and fun they had during Destination D23. One fan on X commented, “Their presentation was easily one of the best of Destination D23. Such a great group of Ambassadors.” As an ambassador, they noted how excited they were to get back to Shanghai and share all the news and updates learned from the event. Additionally, Destination D23 allowed them to meet fans from all across the world.

For the fun stuff, they got to talk to participants in the Disney College Program and meet the cast across the Resort. But for the really fun stuff, they were able to let their hair down and enjoy the Parks! One of the most unique parts of working for Disney has to be the opportunity to experience other Parks other than your home. While each Park has its own special quirks, it must be so special to experience classic attractions that are found at most parks, like Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and “it’s a small world”.

They were even able to experience the Halloween activities held at Magic Kingdom and experience Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana, newly added to EPCOT. Their love for the program and role shines through as their experience comes to an end. The Shanghai ambassadors wrote,

Being Disney Ambassadors has been a highlight of our Disney journey, one that has passed in the blink of an eye. Engaging guests, cast and communities to build connections is pure Disney magic, and we enjoyed spreading joy and positivity to the community. As we always say, “Once an Ambassador, always an Ambassador!” We look forward to our next phase of the journey and will keep going with lots of magic, joy, bravery and love as we continue to carry the Disney legacy.
