With Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort continuing their phased reopenings after the pandemic forced them to shut down, Guests are now packing the theme parks.
But along with crowds comes long wait times and increased emotions among Guests, even if Walt Disney World is “The Most Magical Place on Earth”.
The introduction of Disney Genie+, Disney’s current supply chain issues, and the frequent breakdowns of popular attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, have led to many altercations and incidents lately in the Parks.
We’ve seen a fight at Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, altercations between Guests relating to limited 50th celebration merchandise, and even wild incidents due to line-cutting.
Now, a video has been shared revealing another negative moment in Disney’s theme parks in Florida – this time in Magic Kingdom.
TikTok user @maddieisraddie shared an unsettling video of a Disney Guest yelling at a Cast Member in Fantasyland.
The Guest is heard shouting “Don’t touch my stroller!” while holding up her phone and appearing to record the interaction:

As you can see in the video, the Guest appears to be frustrated – and seemingly in an unjustified manner – with the Cast Member.
While we are not sure what the original issue was, the Guest can be heard talking about their stroller being moved multiple times, saying:
“It does not say no stroller parking! If you’re gonna move my stroller, then you stand there and you let me know you moved my stroller.”
The incident occurred right in the middle of Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom, just next to Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. Many Guests can be seen reacting shocked to the Disney Park Guest’s actions, especially as they’re in a magical place.
Cast Members are trained at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme parks to ensure Guests are always safe and abiding by the rules and regulations set out by Disney. This includes new COVID-19 measures, mask mandates, and arguments like this one.
If Guests are seen to ignore these rules, Disney has the ability to remove that Guest from that Parks and even ban them for a period of time. So, please, respect these hardworking Cast Members trying to make happiness for us all!
TikTok users have been commenting on @maddieisraddie’s video, with one writing:
“Cast members move strollers all the time – it’s their job to rearrange them so others can park their strollers”
Another hinted at who was to blame in the negative incident, writing:
“She’s filming him as if she’s the one in the right,” another said.
Many Disney fans have been debating recently Chapek’s divided role as Disney CEO. His budget cuts and layoffs, as well as his attention moving to Disney+ and away from the quality of the Disney Parks, have led to much social media debate about Bob Iger’s replacement.
Chapek revealed in an interview that he dislikes this “cost-cutter” reputation he has gained as Disney CEO.
Another issue for Guests lately has been the new Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane systems, the new paid iteration of what was previously the FastPass service, introduced to Walt Disney World in October 2021.
Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane were released last year to much criticism and frustration, leaving many Guests feeling confused by the service. Featuring a whole host of intuitive technology to help Guests plan their day, the digital tool has been suffering issues following its launch. From sold-out attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to app failures on their phones, Guests have been quick to share their opinions on Disney Genie on social media.
Let’s hope we see fewer negative incidents at Disney theme park in 2022, and more magic moments!
