If you’ve visited recently, you’ll know how crowded the Parks have been lately. Whether walking along , U.S.A. or shopping in a , it can start to feel as if your personal space is constantly being filled.
Lines for a popular such as the , , , or other attractions in are almost always full.
But on the other side of the world, and have lowered Park capacity by as much as 20% in order to give their Guests a better experience. That’s not the only thing the has done differently.

has even offered special discounts for vaccinated Guests, something no other has done. It goes to show how seriously Japan has taken the COVID-19 pandemic.
So much so that years after the pandemic began, the country has slowly started opening its borders, giving Guests a chance to visit again.

However, despite the number of foreign visitors who would like to visit a , it seems that The is particular about who their theme Parks are marketed towards (The Company doesn’t operate either of the Resorts, The does).
In one particular example, an American influencer living in Tokyo tried to obtain entry to a media preview event at but was denied access. Spencer (@TDRPlans on Twitter) shares in his tweet:
I had a very productive phone call with the OLC public relations department today… apparently foreigners are still banned from media previews, and they have no intention of inviting non-Japanese from now on, even though the borders are open again 🙃

Although foreign tourists can visit and again, media events are still restricted to residents of Japan.

Even more confusing, Spencer notes that he had been able to gain access to similar events prior to the pandemic in his Tweet:
