Disneyland’s Annual Passholders, also known as Magic Key Holders, have some guidelines that work a little differently from Walt Disney World’s Passholders.

Like any Disney Resort, Disneyland makes an effort to keep the Park decently full while maintaining a balance between standard Guests and Guests with Magic Key Holder status.

In order to ensure that everybody gets a spot in the Park, Disneyland has begun disciplining Magic Key Holders who stay home despite having made a Theme Park Reservation.

If a Magic Key Holder acts as a ‘No Show’ three times within the span of 90 days, they won’t be allowed to make Park Reservations for Disney California Adventure or Disneyland Park for 30 days. That’s missing an entire month out of the year!

It’s safe to say that most Magic Key Holders are making the effort required to maintain Key Holder privileges. One Guest, in particular, shared her experience on TikTok:

As shown in the video, TikTok user @crystalchibi showed herself visiting Disneyland Park in the pouring rain, risking her Ultra Mini Ugg Boots. These cozy shoes are $150, so we can easily understand the effort @crystalchibi put into keeping them dry.

Many people in the comments, however, questioned the TikToker and asked why she hadn’t bought a cheaper pair of shoes on the way to the Disney Resort. Some comments point out that the Magic Keyholder could have even gone to Downtown Disney before entering the theme Park.

Although we don’t know why the Magic Keyholder didn’t purchase a pair of shoes on the way to save her super cozy boots, we do know one thing for certain: being a Magic Keyholder now comes with certain strings attached.
