Disney fans are debating on if the Tokyo Disney Resort has the best holiday popcorn bucket. It’s no secret that Disney fans love their themed Disney Parks popcorn buckets, no matter which Disney location they’re from.
Plus, when it comes to the holidays, Disney Parks all over the world deck their halls with some very merry popcorn carriers! For example, both the Disneyland Resort in California and the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando have released more than one holiday-themed popcorn bucket for anyone looking to get into the Christmas spirit!

Disney World Guests seem to be particularly excited about the Musical Holiday Tin Premium Bucket and Animal Kingdom Park’s Gold Tree Bucket. However, across the ocean, the Tokyo Disney Resort released an all-new bucket on November 1 for their holiday celebrations, the Christmas Tree Popcorn Bucket! And it is so cute!
The bucket features a classic evergreen tree with gold embossed ornaments, strings of pearl garlands, small motifs like bells, snowmen, and candy canes, and topped with a rigged gold star. Mickey Mouse, in a mandatory Santa Claus suit (of course), places a small present beside two already wrapped gifts labeled “For Minnie.”

Plus, the red and green carrying strap reads “Wishing you a magical Christmas full of joy and happiness.” Awww! Disney Fan Chris Explorer posted a more detailed video to Twitter, noting it’s the “perfect Christmas popcorn bucket.”

What’s more, many other fans agree! In fact, the Tokyo Christmas Tree bucket bears a striking resemblance to the one sold previously at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks in the US just a few years ago. Chris provided a side-by-side for comparison:
A few people asked so …
Here’s a side by side comparison of the WDW (left) and TDR (right) Christmas tree popcorn buckets ? ?
As you can see, the TDR one has much more detail! pic.twitter.com/4NM09z0v8E

It’s true, one must admit that the Tokyo bucket, while similar, captures much more detail than its US counterpart. But both buckets, no matter which you have, are sure to bring the Yuletide cheer to your family this holiday!
Guests can find the Christmas Treet Popcorn Bucket for ¥3000 (about $20.73) in carts across Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea and Tomorrowland’s The Big Pop store. Which of these Disney Holiday Popcorn Buckets are you adding to your Christmas Collection?
