Walt Disney World is definitely an amazing vacation destination for guests of all ages to enjoy magical moments together. While there are plenty of amazing attractions, entertainment, and dining to enjoy, some guests might not necessarily think of Walt Disney World as being romantic, but there are actually plenty of ways to enjoy some romance while on vacation! In fact many guests choose Walt Disney World as the location to get engaged thanks to some incredibly romantic locations that help to make for unforgettable memories and photographs. Here are the top ten places to propose and get engaged while in Walt Disney World!

1. Cinderella Castle

The most popular location for guests to get engaged in Walt Disney World is on Main Street or in the hub of the Magic Kingdom with Cinderella Castle in the background. The beautiful structure soars high into the sky and provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic and unforgettable moment. This is a great location to pop the question as well as there are typically plenty of PhotoPass Cast Members around who can capture the moment as well as many other guests passing by who will certainly stop and cheer!

2. Italy Pavilion Bridge

Many locations in Epcot’s World Showcase are beautiful spots that evoke romantic emotions and can be perfect for proposals, including on spot in the Italy Pavilion. In the front of the pavilion there is a bridge that overlooks the beautiful Italian architecture in one direction and World Showcase Lagoon with Spaceship Earth in the other. This serene spot is a wonderful place to propose as it combines Italian charm and romance with beautiful views of Epcot that can’t be beat!

3. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Beach

Another quintessentially romantic location in Walt Disney World can be found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Situated on Seven Seas Lagoon, guests can stroll on white sand beaches and enjoy water views with the Magic Kingdom across the way. At night, the beach is even more romantic when Happily Ever After begins in the Magic Kingdom offering sweeping views of the fireworks. 4. California Grill Observation Deck

Also found on Seven Seas Lagoon is Disney’s Contemporary Resort which features the popular California Grill restaurant at the very top of the main building. Not only is the restaurant incredibly romantic in its delicious menu options and upscale atmosphere, but it also offers an outdoor observation deck where guests can venture to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks each evening. Offering stunning views of Seven Seas Lagoon and the fireworks in the distance, this is a perfect location for a romantic proposal.

5. Canada Pavilion Gardens

The Canada Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is home to a rustic charm and stunning architecture as well as a serene location that is perfect for a proposal. The Victoria Gardens area of the pavilion can be found leading up to Le Cellier Steakhouse and features gentle rolling hills beautifully designed with colorful and vibrant flower beds and vegetation. 7. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Carriage Ride

Another unique experience that can be enjoyed outside of the Disney Parks creates a private and romantic moment that would be perfect for a proposal. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort features the Riverside location that brings the charm of the South to life as well as the French Quarter location that evokes the romance and atmosphere of New Orleans. Guests can book a private horse and carriage ride that brings them on a serene journey through both areas of the Disney Resort and along the banks of the Sassagoula River. 8. France Pavilion Bridge

Another stunning location in Epcot’s World Showcase that would be ideal for a proposal is the bridge that connects the France and UK Pavilions. This elevated pathway offers a beautiful view of the France Pavilion in the background with the Eiffel Tower rising up from the buildings. While the view and atmosphere alone are great for a proposal, there is also frequently a PhotoPass Cast Member there who can capture the entire experience!

9. Maharajah Jungle Trek

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to many quiet corners and locations that are beautiful thanks to the incredible theming and lush vegetation found throughout the entire park. The Maharajah Jungle Trek in particular features some stunning areas that offer a romantic backdrop for a proposal. One great location on the walking trail is the tiger habitat, where guests could have an unforgettable proposal with Asian Tigers, lush plant life, and beautiful palace ruins in the background.

10. Galaxy’s Edge

Many guests who visit Walt Disney World are massive Star Wars fans and 2019 saw the addition of the incredible Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests can now travel to the planet Batuu and explore the Black Spire Outpost while living out their First Order or Rebel fantasies.
