But for some rides, such as Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and other thrill rides, there are indeed height requirements. This means that Guests traveling with service dogs can’t bring them onto these attractions. Walt Disney World’s policy also states that service dogs cannot participate in water activities, including water rides.

However, that doesn’t mean that the Guest in question can’t ride these exciting attractions! They just have to be separated from their service animal for the duration of the ride.

But where do the canine companions go? This TikTok account clears up the confusion with this video showing what goes on behind the scenes at EPCOT.

In this video, this Guest shows where their service dog waits while they ride EPCOT’s classic attraction Soarin’ Around the World. As we can see, canine companions are left inside a large kennel while Guests enjoy the attraction. A Cast Member will wait with the service animal for the Guest to return and retrieve them.
