Each time you visit Disney World, your trip can be vastly different from the time before. This is what makes us Disney fans always coming back for more.

To help answer some of those questions, we’re here to debunk the best way to experience Disney World that makes your trip easier and more magical. Disney offers various options depending on the experience you’re looking for. Their resorts are in tiers starting at Disney Value Resort Hotels, Moderate Resort Hotels, Deluxe Resort Hotels, and Deluxe Villas.

There are plenty of reasons why both work and depending on your party and the experience you want to have, you may lean one way more than the other. But truth be told, staying on property makes your Disney trip much smoother and takes the burden off some of the heavy lifting involved in planning. So here are four reasons why you should stay on Disney property for your next Disney trip.

4 Reasons to Stay on Disney Property

There are plenty of perks for staying at a Disney Resort. Although Disney has done away with a few that were great benefits, there are still plenty of reasons that make sense to stay close to the Parks. Previously, Disney offered the Magical Express, which brought Guests to and from the Orlando International Airport. While that is no longer, that doesn’t mean it can’t return!

Immersive Experience

What is more magical than staying in the magic itself? Walt Disney World offers resorts from Value Resort Hotels to Deluxe Villas. What is more immersive than staying in a Resort themed like some of your favorite Disney movies? Furthermore, each Resort has its own unique theme, making it yet another experience outside of the Parks. Animal Kingdom Lodge, for example, offers greetings of (real, yes real) giraffes, zebras, and other animals from the view of your hotel room window. “The Deluxe resort is located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, but it feels like it’s part of the park thanks to the animal programs and savanna-view rooms,” Travel and Leisure writes.

Discounts

As a Florida resident, Disney offers a boatload of discounts. With percentages off rooms and tickets, it can make it more affordable to stay on property or even bundle your entire trip. Disney+ subscribers, military members, and Annual Passholders also get various discounts throughout the year. Furthermore, Disney will release promotions for certain times of the year with bundles of rooms and tickets. Their special offers and discounts page is the best place to find deals for your trip.

Free Transportation

Although the Magical Express is no longer available, Disney still offers free transportation in other ways. A huge perk of staying at a Disney Resort is the free shuttle buses to and from the Parks. Additionally, they run to Disney Springs. Depending on which Resort you stay at, you can take a boat, monorail, or Disney Skyliner. “It can oftentimes be easier than parking in the massive lots by the theme parks, and it can save you lots of time,” as Disney Fanatic wrote. If you’re driving your own car, Disney offers complimentary standard parking at Disney theme parks, Disney water parks, and the Disney Springs area.

Extra Hours

Staying at a Disney Resort means you can jumpstart your day and get to the Parks earlier than other Guests! All Guests staying at any Disney Resort can enjoy early entry thirty minutes before the Park opens for the rest of the Guests. Additionally, Guests staying at Deluxe Resort Hotels and Deluxe Villas can enjoy extended evening hours. Evening hours mean shorter lines for your favorite attractions, too!

These are the top four reasons to stay on Disney property. As things are continuously growing and changing with the Parks, who knows what other perks may come with staying at a Disney Resort?
