Dining options at Disneyland are getting an upgrade! Disney is always cooking something up and something delicious, might I add. Disney Parks are known for attractions, entertainment, and of course, the dining experiences. Whether you’re grabbing a DOLE Whip to walk and snack on or planning a dinner reservation, Disney food is one of a kind.

Disneyland Resort is getting a new restaurant in the Downtown Disney District. Located in Anaheim, California, the newest restaurant is seen as under construction and listed as “coming soon” on its website. Din Tai Fung is a world-renowned restaurant serving family-style dishes in a brand-new space.

Coming soon to Downtown Disney District, specifically on the west side, is getting some updates. As shown in the tweet below from Scott Gustin, the restaurant is undergoing construction.

The new restaurant is still listed as “coming soon” on its website but has its menu posted to excite your tastebuds. Disneyland describes the location as a “Family-run restaurant that will bring flavorful Chinese cuisine to Downtown Disney.” The most exhilarating part of the restaurant is the soup dumplings handcrafted onsite. If that doesn’t do it for you, menu items like sweet & sour pork baby back ribs, crab & Kurobuta Pork, Xiao Long Bao, and Bok Choy with Scallion-Infused Oil may be the trick.

The online menu shows the various locations this world-renowned restaurant is in. Guests can try out the cuisine in various locations throughout California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and New York. The Chinese restaurant originated in Taiwan and has now excitingly made its way to Disney. As construction continues, Guests can enjoy the updates as shown below in the aerial video.

As of August 15, 2023, the restaurant is well underway. While there is no set date for opening, Guests can check back for updates on this delicious new dining experience.
