Ahhhh, Disney Springs: so many desserts, so little time! We’re sure every Walt Disney World fan has his or her own all-time favorite desserts here, and of course, they could never all fit into a best-of list. Here are our 10 favorite desserts at Disney Springs – there may be a few here you haven’t tried, or even heard of! Feel free to use this list the next time you’re looking for a sugar fix (and we apologize in advance if your favorite didn’t make the list)!

10. Bread & Butter Pudding

You may not have expected a list of best desserts to include by bread pudding. If not, you’ve never tasted Ger’s Bread & Butter Pudding at Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant! You’ll want to make room for this, trust us. Arriving in one fresh, delicious portion, it comes with caramel and anglaise sauces on the side, so you can pour on the deliciousness yourself. We know several Walt Disney World fans who absolutely swear by this dessert!

9. Crissy Field Cookie Bits Sundae

You simply can’t go wrong at Ghirardelli! If you’re looking for a great place to start, try the Crissy Field Cookie Bits Sundae. The base is vanilla and cookies ‘n cream ice cream, and it’s topped with rich hot fudge, loads of whipped cream, chocolate chip cookie bits, and of course, some milk chocolate caramel squares. (If you’re a serious cookie fan, have them replace the vanilla ice cream with cookie dough ice cream.)

8. Frosting Shots

Yes, we did say “Frosting Shots”! Walt Disney World guests with a serious sweet tooth can rest easy – Erin McKenna’s NYC Bakery has you covered. You’ll find shots of frosting here in several different flavors, and you’ll want to try more than one. The icing on the – well, icing – is that this bakery is vegan-friendly, and gluten-free (though you’d never guess that by tasting their delicious baked goods!).

7. Salted Caramel Cupcake

We’re suckers for cupcakes – the richer, the better! And if you are too, then this delight from Sprinkles may just be your favorite dessert in all of Disney Springs. The Salted Caramel Cupcake is not only deliciously decadent, it’s filled with cookie dough ice cream. That makes it a winner in our books! You can also check out the fun cupcake ATM here for a completely different ordering experience.

6. Chocolate Cream & Crunch

This dessert at Morimoto Asia earns points for originality as well as taste. The Chocolate Cream & Crunch consists of Oreo tempura, paired with mandarin orange jelly, dark chocolate gelato, and crunchy bits of chocolate hazelnut chocolate. We guarantee you won’t find another dessert like it on property!

5. Whiskey Caramel Cornbread Cake

You probably come to the BOATHOUSE Restaurant for the delicious seafood (and those fantastic boats, of course!). But make sure you save some room for dessert. The Whiskey Caramel Cornbread Cake is a delightfully unexpected combination, and it needs to be tasted to be believed! It’s sweet with just the perfect kick.

4. Lollipop Tree

How can you not love a dessert called the Lollipop Tree? Especially when it comes with Bubble Gum Whipped Cream! Found at the excellently eccentric The Edison, this treat actually does come in the form of a tree, and the branches are cheesecake pops. There’s definitely enough to share. If you want to, that is!

3. Chocolate Extinction

Whether you’re a chocoholic, a Butterfinger fan, or just want some ice cream topped with fudge and caramel sauce, the Chocolate Extinction at T-REX has it all! This monstrous dessert serves four people, so it’s perfect for an after dinner treat for the whole family.

2. Amorette’s Patisserie

We know a lot of Walt Disney World fans with a weakness for macarons. This one’s for you! Amorette’s Patisserie has a heavenly selection of signature cakes and pastries to choose from, and we especially love the Macarons – 5 Count. You’ll find light, fluffy macarons in five different flavors (Pistachio, Espresso, Caramel Sea Salt, Chocolate and Passion Fruit) – great for families. Or for guests who really love their macarons!

1. Artisanal Gelato

A list of top desserts wouldn’t be complete without a frozen treat to cool down with on a hot Orlando day. Our choice? Cialda Ripiena – Build Your Own Waffle Bowl at Vivoli il Gelato. You can choose three different gelato flavors (including peanut butter, sweet cherry, rice pudding, fresh cream custard, and Italian chocolate), and even top it off with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. A great way to beat the heat!

About Jason Dick

Jason is a Disney addict. Walt Disney World trips are an annual occurrence that his partner has had to come to terms with. In between Disney trips, he spends his time running the theatre company he started in 2007. As Artistic Director, he picks musicals to bring to his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario Canada that have never been produced in the area. Traveling is definitely a passion and in addition to his trips to the happiest place on earth, he and his partner also travel the world, most recently to India and Nepal. A carnivore by nature, Jason loves the incredible amount of steakhouses Walt Disney World has to offer - they are always at the top of his list for each and every visit.
