The ultimate fan event, D23 Expo 2022, comes to the Anaheim Convention Center this fall, from September 9 to September 11. The popular weekend spectacle includes exclusive announcements, first looks, sneak peeks, and presentations.
Along with all the perks Guests can access with their ticket to this affair are interactive displays and experiences. Disney on Broadway has been delighting audiences for 28 years, with ten titles they’ve adapted into musicals.
Fans of the D23 Expo 2022 will be excited to learn that Disney on Broadway is returning this year with a popular immersive experience. Guests are invited on stage in the Virtual Reality Theatre to participate in the middle of a musical performance!

Attendees will be able to virtually join their favorite ensembles from either Aladdin, Frozen, or The Lion King. Those interested are given virtual reality headsets that place them right in the middle of the action!
Once onstage, they can let their imagination run wild, dancing to iconic songs like “Friend Like Me” from Aladdin (1992), “Let It Go” from Frozen (2013), or “Circle of Life” from The Lion King (1994).

What a unique experience! Guests interested in shooting for the stars in their own Broadway musical can enjoy the virtual reality experience each of the three days at the D23 Expo 2022.
Disney on Broadway’s Virtual Reality Theatre is on the D23 Expo Show-Room Floor. Disney currently has 24 musical productions under its belt, with Guests lining up to watch the beloved performances all over the country.
