A popular show has returned to Walt Disney World, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect! Guest @najlah_el_fareeda shared a video from EPCOT’s International Food & Wine Festival, capturing the performers on stage.
Known as Atlas Fusion, the singers and musicians entertain Guests in the Morocco Pavilion. The show is typically part of the exciting entertainment offered at Restaurant Marrakesh, but currently, the restaurant remains closed.
A standout feature of the performance is the belly dancing! Dressed in beautiful, fiery colors of orange and yellow, the dancer makes her way on stage as the band performs. In years past, the belly dancers would step offstage and teach Guests their intriguing dance moves.

The Morocco Pavilion is known as one of the most romantic and authentic spots at EPCOT’s World Showcase. A popular Disney Fairy Tale Weddings hot spot, the flowered courtyard and Grand archway provide the perfect setting for couples to tie the knot.
As for Restaurant Marrakesh, it will soon be transforming into the Florida Blue Medicare Lounge. A sign posted outside the restaurant lists its opening date as September 3, 2022.

There are two other restaurants located in the Morocco Pavilion. Spice Road Table serves Mediterranean food with a waterfront view, while Tangerine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina serves traditional Moroccan cuisine.
The Tangerine Cafe has some unique offerings for the Food & Wine Festival this year to satisfy both sweet and salty cravings. The Fried Falafel Pita with tahini sauce is plant-based and looks absolutely scrumptious!

For dessert, the Pistachio Cake with cinnamon pastry cream and candied walnuts is beautifully crafted, with a brightly colored cake and rich, creamy filling.
EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is in full swing, opening on July 14 and continuing until November 19, 2022. Make sure to check out all the festive offerings in this area during the special event, including the captivating entertainment!
