We have an update on the story we posted yesterday about the unfortunate brawl that recently occurred inside Magic Kingdom Park. According to nbcnews.com, the fight, which happened Wednesday evening, July 20, resulted in several arrests and a hospitalization.
The incident occurred in Fantasyland between Mickey’s Philharmagic and Peter Pan’s Flight. According to a bystander, the brawl started as a result of line-cutting.
This video of a Magic Kingdom fight posted on Facebook is crazy.
But I’m with the person who filmed this. Where is security?? pic.twitter.com/rKnRAgFef2

Apparently, a Guest went to retrieve her forgotten cell phone at the Mickey’s Philharmagic attraction. Afterward, when she attempted to rejoin her party back in line, another group refused to let her pass, initiating physical contact.
Line-cutting is a hot-button issue in the Disney community, with recent videos on TikTok addressing the matter. Creators have spoken against people rejoining their party in line, stating that they should not be allowed back in.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Orlando, Florida, conducted an investigation after the intense fight, resulting in three misdemeanor battery arrests. Sadly, one of the people involved was injured and had to be hospitalized.
A video shared by @sweetisme on Twitter reveals the whole ugly matter. Walt Disney World has yet to make any comment regarding the brawl.
Unfortunately, it seems as if theme parks have been dealing with an increase in physical altercations like this as of late. Recently, in May, we shared about an incident at Disneyland Park during the return of their beloved Fantasmic show.
Yesterday, we also shared news that Knott’s Berry Farm, located near the Disneyland Resort, will be incorporating a chaperone policy due to problems they’ve been having with unruly Guests.
With overcrowding at the Parks, long lines, and a lack of room to view certain events, Guests can become agitated and sometimes even crack. It’s sad to see people behave this way, especially in front of all the children attending the Theme Parks.
We look forward to hearing what Disney has to say on the matter. Will they follow Knott’s lead by incorporating new rules into the Resorts?
