PHOTOS: Airbus Receives Fourth Disney Plane Inspired by Daisy Duck

Today, Disney presented Brazilian company Azul Linhas Aéreas with a new Daisy Duck-themed Airbus A320 Neo to complete their “World’s Most Magical Fleet.”

Since 2021, Disney has partnered with Azul to create the series, which previously included jets with a livery inspired by Daisy’s partner, Donald Duck, as well as pals Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

For example, Azul received the Minnie Mouse Airbus, registered PR-YJF, in December, and the Mickey Mouse, registered PR-YSH, in September of last year. Additionally, Disney gave Donald Duck, registered PR-YSI, to Azul earlier this year.

Most often, Disney paints favorite members of the “Fab Five” onto the fuselage and other areas of each promotional aircraft. Moreover, the four Disney-themed liveries are part of Azul’s brand-new fleet, which they leased from BOC Aviation until 2033.

In addition, Disney themes not just the outside of each jet, but the inside cabins as well! You can see an example in the photo below from the Donald Duck Airbus, showcasing images of the Duck himself and his classic sailor hat, plus animated versions of travel staples and Disney Parks souvenirs.

Specifically, there’s a Park map, sunglasses, a snow globe, a cellphone, and the iconic blue plastic water sprayer + portable fan.

However, the “World’s Most Magical Fleet” are far from the only planes operating under Azul. The airline from Brazil boasts more than 160 aircraft carrying passengers safely to their destinations such as 59 Embraer units, 36 ATR 72-600s, 12 A330s, a view Cessna jets, and a total of 50 Airbuses in the A320 line. Impressive!

The Airbus company announced the news, and revealed the fourth and final Magical Fleet Character design, via their Twitter:

On the World’s Most Magical Fleet, Azul said:

“The planes operate on domestic routes to nearly 50 Brazilian airports, bringing the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort parks to the entire country.
