Fans of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are always in a friendly competition, arguing over which theme park has the best rides, food, entertainment, and overall experiences.
Guests can usually agree on how convenient it is to visit Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure compared to Walt Disney World Resort. Unlike Walt Disney World, Universal doesn’t require a Park Reservation, making it much less stressful to plan a trip. Also, Universal Studios is less expensive to experience than Walt Disney World Resort.

Theme park tickets, merchandise, theme park meals, and even Resort hotel prices are lower at Universal. As an added plus, Universal Resort hotels usually offer more free amenities than Walt Disney World.
However, there is one area in which Walt Disney World does much better than Universal, according to one Guest’s experience.
@summerlendavis when your vacation is ruined because rollercoaatwrs are not size inclusive and you’re a plus-sized woman. Universal Studios, you can do better. The test seats being out in the open is humiliating, and there has to be a way to get my fat 🍑 onto a ride. #hhn #greenscreen #themeparkrides #halloweenhorrornightsorlando #halloweenhorrornights2022 #islandsofadventure #fatphobia #inclusivedesign #universalorlando @Universal Studios Orlando FL🌎

Summer Len Davis recently made a TikTok explaining her negative experience as a curvy, plus-size woman. In her video, she describes how humiliating and disappointing it was to be unable to fit into many of the ride vehicles at Universal Studios. Worst of all is how many test ride vehicles are in public, right in front of the attraction, giving Guests no choice but to see if they fit into the vehicle in front of crowds of people.
Thousands of people commented on her video, and over one hundred thousand people liked it. Seeing how this viral video struck a chord with many TikTok users, we can marvel at the irony of Universal Orlando Resort’s recent Tweet, which reads, “Can we fit in a ride before our 10 a.m. meeting?”
