Buffet Dining Will Soon Return to This Favorite Disney Character Restaurant

Many Walt Disney World dining experiences have returned to “normal” or even received newly enhanced menus over the past year or so. Still, some restaurants have been open but modified, and we have been anxiously waiting for news that some fan favorites will soon return to their full potential.

Today, the Disney Parks Blog shared the news that a popular Disney’s Hollywood Studios character restaurant will be bringing back its buffet later this summer, and we’ve got all the details!

Hollywood & Vine located right at the end of Hollywood Boulevard will be welcoming back its buffet dining experience on August 28, 2022. The restaurant has continued to offer character sightings since its reopening alongside a family-style dinner, but fans of the original style of this restaurant will be pleased to once again experience the buffet.

Coming up on the new buffet menu are an array of sweet and savory breakfast options like Brioche French Toast with Banana Foster Sauce, Salmon and Bagel Casserole, and a new Plant-based Frittata with tomato jam.

Later in the day, lunch and dinner will feature a Plant-based Roasted Mushroom Farro Risotto, Slow-Roasted Crispy Pork Belly with a Guava glaze, and Shrimp and Bacon Mac & Cheese. Desserts accompanying the buffet will include a sweet Missippi Mud Pie and PB&J Tarts.

A favorite breakfast spot for Guests traveling with little ones, Hollywood & Vine hosts Disney Junior pals in the morning, and the location feature appearances by Minnie and friends for lunch and dinner. And, as an all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience, you can try everything new on the buffet (assuming you save some room to try it all!)

Hollywood & Vine also hosts Minnie’s Seasonal Dines throughout the year, with Minnie and friends wearing new outfits for holidays like Easter, Christmas, and Halloween, so if you are looking for a more festive character restaurant, this is certainly one to consider!

Like every Walt Disney World table service restaurant, advanced reservations are strongly recommended. Make your reservations in advance of your visit at Disney’s official website or on the My Disney Experience app. Enjoy!
