How to Guarantee a Seat to See Your Favorite Celebrity Narrator at Candlelight Processional

The holiday season is approaching and the Walt Disney World Resort is preparing the works across all four theme parks and its Resort hotels.

This year, several fan-favorite holiday events and experiences are returning to Disney Parks and we could not be more excited. Returning events include Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and the Merry Menagerie on Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, just to name a few.

Focusing on EPCOT, one of the most highly anticipated events for the season is Candlelight Processional, which runs select dates throughout the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays from November 25-December 30, 2022. This year’s full narrator lineup has been released with some returning favorite celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris and Whoopi Goldberg, but some of the new narrators for this year might surprise you.

Once you decide which day to go to Candlelight Processional, your next move is likely making sure you’ll be able to grab a seat for the performance. The only way to guarantee yourself a seat for this Disney holiday tradition is to book a dining package. Reservations just opened on October 6, 2022, for Candlelight Processional dining packages and we’ve got the scoop!

Guests who book a dining package reservation can enjoy lunch or dinner in select restaurants around EPCOT for an added fee, along with earlier seating to Candlelight Processional. Entering the America Gardens Theatre before Guests who are just waiting in line, means you’ll be guaranteed a seat for the show (at least assuming you arrive on time!)

The extra fee for the dining packages comes as an additional cost on top of buffet dining or a special pre-fixe menu depending on the restaurant. There are options for nearly every taste and budget though with several of EPCOT’s most popular restaurants included in the package.

The dining package is available at Biergarten, Coral Reef Restaurant, Garden Grill Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Regal Eagle Smokehouse, Rose & Crown Dining Room, and Spice Road Table, with select locations available for same-day reservations only. Pricing varies by location, see the screenshot below from Disney’s official website for details:

Reservations are available online at DisneyWorld.com, and we recommend booking them as soon as you know which date of Candlelight Processional you’d like to attend. Dining packages are limited, so be sure to book soon so you don’t miss out!

This year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays also includes the return of outdoor kitchens around the Park, storytellers around World Showcase, the Holiday Cookie Stroll, and more. We’ll be back with more updates on the holiday season at Walt Disney World as we have them here on Disney Tips.
