Disney Cast Members are the most important part of what makes a trip to Disney Parks and Resorts so magical, and we love sharing new ways to recognize them for their hard work in making the magic.
Earlier this year, Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort were given an update in the My Disney Experience app that allows them to share Cast Compliments right in the app. The Disneyland Resort recently received a similar update with even more useful features so those important compliments can make their way to the Cast Members who go above and beyond in creating happiness for Guests.

The Disney Parks Blog just shared that the Cast Compliment feature can now be found in the Disneyland app simply by searching “Cast Compliment.” There Guests can enter a note from the dropdown menu that describes their positive interaction with the Cast Member, along with the person’s first name and hometown (as written on their nametag) and the date and location of the interaction.
Area leaders review compliments regularly so they can be shared with Cast Members. So far, Cast Compliments made at Walt Disney World through the My Disney Experience app have added up to over 360,000 compliments!

And that number is not even including all of the compliments made in person at Guest Relations, via email, and on social media. If you have a trip to the Disneyland Resort coming up, be sure to download the app ahead of your visit and remember to note which Cast Members made your trip extra special.
