Have you ever wondered what creating a new dish at Disney World looks like? Well, look no further! To celebrate National Culinary Arts Month, the culinary cast posted a video to help commemorate the day. Disney World is known for so many things, including its cuisine. From Mickey-shaped ice cream bars to elegant entrees, Disney offers it all.
Guests can indulge in different sips and bites when visiting Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, or Disney Springs. Disney never disappoints with their dining options, no matter the Park or the time of day. Now, Disney is showing how a new menu item comes about and the hard work that goes into it.

Cast Life
Disney values their employees, and on the Disney Parks Blog, they now have a section called Cast Life. In this section, Guests can read and watch all different kinds of stories, tips, and adventures told by Disney employees. “Disney Cast Members, Crew Members, Imagineers, and employees represent a special community of people dedicated to bringing happiness and joy to the world,” Disney writes.
To recognize all the culinary masterminds at Disney, the culinary team at Typhoon Lagoon showcased how their team dreamed up a “delicious creation”. Maribeth Bisienere, Senior Vice President of Operations at Walt Disney World, even joined them. They showed their talents while creating a bbq chicken flatbread with pineapple, as seen on their Instagram page here.

It may even be a surprise that a culinary team works at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon as a water Park. Although it may not have sit-down restaurants and a more casual dining scene, the food isn’t any less impressive. One fan took to Instagram, confidentcoveredinchocolate, writing, “Welp – looks like I’m due for another water Park day at Typhoon Lagoon!!! I swear our culinary team keeps opening new doors that lead to incredible new and innovative food offerings all around parks and resorts.”
